The Selection of International Student Mobility Program of English Literature UIN Sunan Kalijaga 2025

The English Literature Program of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences UIN Sunan Kalijaga will again hold an International Student Mobility Program aimed at encouraging the best students to experience learning abroad. In 2025, the main destination of this program is Thammasat University Thailand.

This year, there will be two categories of funding available for the International Student Mobility Program: Fully Funded (full cost covered by the university) and Self-Funded (cost covered by the student). A total of two selected students will depart with the Fully Funded program, while other participants can choose to join the program at their own cost.

The selection process was held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with two main stages: journal article presentation and interview. The selection was held offline at the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences and online to assess the participants' readiness, knowledge, and motivation.

A total of 9 students from the English Literature Program participated in this selection. They showed great enthusiasm and commitment, especially when presenting their articles, which were well prepared. The lecturers who served as presentation assessors were Anisah Durrotul Fajri, S.S., M.Hum. and Dr. Dwi Margo Yuwono, M.Hum., while Dr. Ulyati Retno Sari, S.S. M.Hum. was responsible for the interview. The presentation and interview process took place from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB, where the participants were given the opportunity to explain further about their motivation to join the programme.

The selected applicants will be announced on January 18, 2025. Those selected are expected to be able to bring the prestige of the Study Program and UIN Sunan Kalijaga and take the opportunity to use this program as a chance to enrich and enhance their academic experience and networking opportunities at the international level.
