Conducted from October 2025 to January 2026, the three-month internship became part of contextual learning implementation aimed at connecting academic knowledge with professional experience in the education sector.

During the internship, Syaghiefah actively participated in various academic and operational activities, including academic administration, learning media development, digital content production, and classroom assistance. These activities provided valuable exposure to the professional working environment of an English education institution.

In the field of academic administration, she was responsible for managing student grade input and score recaps for IELTS and TOEFL programs, distributing examination access codes, organizing documents and archives, and serving as a Zoom administrator for online speaking classes. Through these responsibilities, she further developed her organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage academic data systematically.

In addition, Syaghiefah contributed to the development of learning media by assisting in the revision of TOEFL Junior materials and participating in the production of approximately 170 educational flashcards. The process included designing, printing, cutting, and laminating materials intended to support interactive learning activities. She also contributed to compiling scholarship e-book content and collecting academic information for institutional reference materials.

The internship program also provided opportunities to engage in digital creative projects, such as editing social media videos, producing TikTok content, and writing promotional scripts. Through these activities, she enhanced her creativity, communication skills, and understanding of digital educational promotion strategies.

Furthermore, Syaghiefah was entrusted with the role of Liaison Officer during a Spelling Bee competition organized by IONs International Education. This experience strengthened her skills in event coordination, teamwork, and professional communication in a real working environment.

According to Syaghiefah, the internship program provided meaningful experiences that contributed significantly to both personal and professional growth. Direct involvement in academic and operational activities also helped her improve her ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to workplace dynamics.

The internship experience at IONs International Education is expected to become an important foundation for facing future professional challenges. The program also reflects the commitment of the English Literature Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to encouraging students to gain practical experience and develop competencies relevant to today’s educational and professional needs.
